Default a lil help if you will please

ok so i think i have a 2005 chevy silverado 4.8 5 speed. well thats what the truck was the day it way born aways. i have had some trouble since day one that ive had it. check engine light for lean bank 1 and bank 2. the dealer has had it in and out of 3 shops. light still on. anyways it had a poweraid tb spacer and some weak cheap way to small cold air so they put all new fsock stuff on it with a new mass air. same part number mass air that was on truck. i pulled truck inside today to paly around and fix a few lil things and thought i would put the tb space back on. anyways come to find out after doing some looking my truck has a ls1 or ls2 intake. its not a truck intake. tb is atleast 1 or 2 inchs lower than the alt pulley. and the heads are stamped 862 at the front coners. anybody got a idea what i might have? only reason i ask is one of the shops would not work on my truck bc they said i have a ls1 car motor not truck motor. and now im thinking the lean prob is due to crack or something. did the 2005 4.8s come with 862s? ill post any pics if needed

Those heads started life on 4.8/5.3's. Post pics of your engine/intake.

that is an ls2 car intake (05-06 gto or ls2 vette). is your block iron or aluminum? i know some of the ls1 guys would put 5.3 heads for a bump in compression. do some more digging and figure out what engine you have and then get in touch with one of our sponsor tuners or find a good local guy to put a custom tune in.

There is a number on my block in front off passenger side head. Looks like 25L04. Any idea?
