i looked at buying the lingenfelter gt2-3 camshaft ( 207-220 571-578 118.5 lsa) for my rcsb 5.3 silverado with Long Tubes, 3500 stall built trans full bolt ons and 125 shot of nitrous any suggjestions yes-no on the cam will it do good?

 

It's a cam that holds its own when it comes to superchargers, but I think you can do better for nitrous.

 

Most supercharger cams and nitrous cams are very close, it should run very well.

 

Uh, not exactly. I ran a 224/230 cam on a single stage of gas, and I wouldn't call that the ideal supercharger cam.

 

OK what about the comp cam lsr 54-456-11 witch is 219-227 607-614 on 112 lsa

 

People will literally tell you half and half. Some will say to just don't bother and go small, like an LS6 cam, but I know what I run and I'd go for something with some duration split. 232/236 or somewhere along those lines if you really want to do it, or go lighter and go with what I mentioned above. There's no definite answer, but I know enough to know trucks that run well, and cams like those two will perform.
