Default Little clicking/ticking?

I have a 2000 1500 with a 5.3 in it. It was getting close to 105k miles now. I have a quick question. Relatively recently I started noticing a very faint clicking or ticking sound (not sure how else to explain it) right about 1200rpm, and that's it. Nowhere above or below that, just at that one spot. I don't remember it doing that before, so I just wanted to see what you thought. What do you think it could be, and is it a problem I need to take care of? Thanks for the help

It's coming from the engine definitely, but I can very faintly hear it in the cab while driving. Not if the windows are open or the music is on though.

it may be the famous chevy tick. the o ring on the oil pump will get loose and cause a small tick noise from 2 lifters not getting the proper amount of oil. it wont hurt a thing just be a little noisy.

but theres no way to know for sure. is it there at all at idle?

The only time my engine isn't ticking is when it isn't running...
