Default Long Tube Headers for a 2005 to 2006 4x4

I'm looking to get a newer silverado/sierra z71 and I was wondering about getting some long tubes. Is there anything I need to be aware of when looking for headers? I have heard of issues with the headers rubbing and stuff like that. Were these problems of old and everything is ok now?

+1
but do NOT put a flowbastard behind them
I sound like v6 at full throttle.

but install the drivers from the bottom, passenger from the top

its a cakewalk. Just drop the Crossmember carefully and slide the entire stock Y out, and thats the hardest part!

I did them on my 06, pacesetters that is. They fit great and have lasted well in the winter weather.

Yep, you've got it...O-R-Y = Off Road Y. If you want to run cats with the PaceSetters you'll have to get something custom made. I believe that some of our sponsors carry the PaceSetters though, check out Texas Speed and Performance...
