Default Long Tube Headers

Ive been lookin for some LT headers for some time. For the Texas Speed LT's w/off road y-pipe, does my factory cat back bolt up to this?(I called texas speed and got no answer) Do i need to go ahead and get some 3" exhaust pipe so i can make a full 3" exhaust?
I Plan on a cam and nitrous in the future, just want to do a little at a time. EFI live will probably be the first thing though.

Thanks guys!

if it doesn't have a flange, just weld it then you'll have less chance for leaks over time.

as far as your stock cat back bolting up, you'll have to modify it a little bit to make it bolt right up to the stock cat back. If I were you I'd go ahead and re-do the whole exhaust with 3". It'll sound better and you wont have to jack with ghetto-rigged exhaust.

Just be careful on that one depending on your stock pipe size. my 4.8 is 2.5" from the factory (including that nice crimp by the trans pan) and I thought about going to 3" but didn't want to worry about losing any low end so have talked myself into staying with the 2.5" I would agree though, just redo the whole thing to take full advantage.

Ok thanks guys.. i can get 3" exhaust pipe 10' stick for i think $60?? ill have to check again..
and if i get the headers im goin to go ahead and get the Longer Magnaflow muffler so it will be quieter esp with out the cats.. Right now i have the 14" body, i might go with the longest one. prob the Magnaflow PN 12641 its a 3" CI/CO 6"RD 30"body. That should be pretty dang quiet?

Dynatech makes a complete stainless steel bolt-on system with high flow cats that bolt right up. It will also bolt right up to a factory or kit style cat-back exhaust system.
Of course this system falls in the "you get what you pay for" catagory. It's not cheap, but they are worth every penny spent from the looks of thier quality, fit & finish, and what others have said about theirs they recieved from them.
I'd take the bolt-on kits rather than custom work. Bolt-on kits look more O.E. than compared to custom exhaust work.
