Default Long tube headers

I've been looking for long tube headers for my 2003 silverado ss. I've seen Dynatech(most expensive), pacesetter(cheapest), and stainless works(anybody running these?). Are we able to get more performance out of one more than the other? I am looking for the headers only and maybe off-road pipes.
This being a performance question, I don't think this is a redundant post.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for the reply. But, Is there any difference in performance with one or the other? If not I will do like you are saying and go with the pacesetters.

Default I can't imagine.....

....much difference in performance between the available long tube designs unless your mods are very extensive. Even then, I'm betting it wouldn't be much. I'd look more for fit, price, longevity, looks, etc. I've got a radix, pacesetters, or Y, and meth kit sitting in my living room. Just waiting on time to install.

There MIGHT be a slight performance difference between Dynatech and PaceSetter, but not a $700 difference IMO.

I have StainlessWorks and I'm very happy with them. They're not inteneded for 99-02's, but I was able to squeeze them in there and they seem to be OK. The quality and finish is excellent, as is the customer service.

budhayes3, Does Stainless works offer any kind of ceramic coating? And, Are you running stock cats?

Tan327, I was thinking that was probably true. Not a $700 difference.

The Dynatech LT's work really well with the LQ9 6.0L engine. They seem to get that SOTP feel after the install of the Dyna LT's. The 4.8L & 5.3L engines do not get much of a SOTP feel in performance gains due to the Dynatech LT's primary tubes being larger in diameter than Pacestters.
A larger cubic inch engine will benefit from the larger primaries.
Go with the hassle free install from the Dynatech LT's w/ high flow cats! They also use all stainless materials & hardware. The pacestters are not. It's well worth the money IMO!
Which ever one you do decide on, get the headers ceramic coated to keep the underhood temps down. Once you ditch the cast iron manifolds, you will also lose the heat shields.

I don't think that they offer coating, I didn't see it as an option when I ordered mine. I'm running the high flow cats that came with the StainlessWorks system...they offer the headers by themselves (they'll put any size collector that you ask for on them), they offer an off road y-pipe, and they offer a y-pipe with high flow cats, which is what I have

There's a link to their website on the right>>>>

does the outer coating of the header really matter?
