Default longtube headers; strictly "off-road use only?"

i'm sure this is a stupid question, but i want to be certain before purchasing (finally) my pair of pacesetter LT's... why exactly do they say "off-road use only" in their ads? will i get pulled over for having exhaust that is too loud, or fail my emissions? how can i cheat the system and buy them anyways?

well i dont know about georgia emissions, but some states, like california, it is illegal to move where the cats are located and you do that when adding long tube headers. also if you have a visual inspection it may not fly depending on restrictions.

basically if your emissions tester doesnt make you keep cats in stock location, and you use high-flow cats you can get by with it. be sure to get tuned for them though

Yep..."off road use only" basically means that they are not emissions legal by many states' regulations. By putting that disclaimer in there, manufacurers can sell their products to the general public because they are covering their butts legally.
