I'm hoping you are talking about my one bitch of an install for the ASMs. The only thing I didnt like abou the TOG headers was the stamped looking flange (from a pic on TByrne's site) and the non coated issue. Which in that case I would lean more towards the FLP/Supermaxx/Dynamaxx/whatever headers as they are stainless steal. You can get them under 1k without the Y pipe and cats, but if you want to keep a Y and cats I'd say go with them. Check my post on the exhaust and problems with ASMs.
Note: I am not saying everyone will have a bitch of a time with ASMs, but with my experience I wasn't too happy on the install. Now that they are on I am simply amazed at the power gains I received. (By the SOTP meter)

I think it was you .... I have heard others say they were a bitch to install too.
The TOG's have laser cut flanges, they are thick too. If I remember right .. they are as thick or thicker than the ASM's. They have no welds in the tubes like the ASM's do either. It is all one tube. They do use different size tubes to offset the difference in length so they will flow the same for each cylinder though. The TOG's come nickel plated. Due to o2 problems, long tube headers should always be coated I think.

What about LaPole's? I have them with customs 3" collectors and they bolted right up perfectly. They are coated and reasonably priced, I went with them because they are large tubes, 1 7/8" compared to others for my S/C and H/C setup.

I'm going to do headers soon too, and I think there are a few good choices. As for the converter, I just had mine (yank tt3000) put in on Tuesday. At first, I was thinking it was too loose, but as I have put 200 miles on it in the last few days its seems to be tighning up a bit. (or I'm just getting used to it!) I like it a lot. I am having some problem hooking from a dead stop, but I have gotten better with my leaving technique. I got mine from TBRYNE, and he treated me right! Excellent support (with questions) and fast shipping. I got it in two weeks, and considering they make each one on a custom basis, I thought that was QUICK. Good luck!
