Default Headers & Heat sheilds

Hey Flyer-It looks like some kind of heat sheild over the front motor mounts. Are they OEM or where did you get them?

Default Flyers Headers

Here is the link:

On the pics of your new truck, there are shields over the motor mounts. My 2500 HD does not have them. I was just wondering if that was something you added or did they come with the headers?

Thanks a lot.

Nice looking headers!

How's the quality of the optional coating the TOG headers (on t byrne's site)? Is it outside only, or inside and out? Is black the standard color (i hope so)? Do they bolt up to the standard exhaust? And what is the primary tube diamater?

I've heard (never had them) that it is great quality. read that post is basically gives you almost all the info you need. It will bolt up to your stock exhaust flanges (and matches the exhaust ports too!).
