Re: LOOK AT MY LS1 TRUCK
That's awesome! The engine bay actually looks cleaner than with the V6 in there. Congrats!
What wheels/tires are you runnin front and back?
I have a Black S-10 that has the stock stuff still on it, and it would be nice to know what my options are. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Thanks! Randy

Re: LOOK AT MY LS1 TRUCK
I have the 6 speed
I have no traction
I only been on a ¼ mile track two times my best 60 was 2.3 and my best ¼ is 13.55 @104
No traction
I been on the 1/8 track 4 or 5 times best 60’ same 2.31 best 1/8 is 8.71 @ 84
I can not give it all of the gas in first gear if I do I have a best 60’ 2.43and 8.9 ¼ @ 81
If I just let off the clutch and do not spin my tires none in first 60’ 2.34 1/8 is 8.84 @ 82
As most of you know the rear of these S10 is Very light I got a new rear end that I am going to have narrow and a new clutch then I will put the put the 28x14.5x15 ET streets on
Tire and wheels I have on now the rims center line style 07 warriors back rims 15x10 with a 6.5 backspace the front is 15x7 3/8 backspace the back tires is Indy SS N50 14” wide 12” tread
The picture shows eagle rims on front but now I have the warriors on the way around.
It was a big of an ordeal to install this in because I never done anything like this before.
But it would not be nothing for me to do this again I learn from my mistakes. And mistakes cost money lot's of it. I have about $17,000 to 18,000 in this now which I will probably sell next year and build me another one. Which there is nothing wrong with this one. There is just thing that I would do different. And it will not cost as much because I know what to do now from the beginning
