+1 for magnaflow. Had 2 magnaflows and one borla on my trucks over the years, magnaflow outlasted the borla hands down. If you plan on getting headers down the road, that will make your exhaust much louder, so take that into consideration too. But whatever you do, go stainless to avoid rusting.

Welcome to PT! I'm w/ these 2 guys. Also, what sounds best is subjective. Corsa hands down. $, but quiet til u romp on it! And they're stainless. If I never bought Corsa, Magnaflow was my #2 choice.

Stainless is the only way to go. Like TX Tahoe said, headers will make louder. And hopefully you're keeping your cats; I'm thinkin since u live in NY, u will. Don't they have strict emissions there, like a visual inspection? If so, keep cats, & no fines. But if ORY, that'll make it louder as well.
