Default Looking for some traction

I have a set of 18" rims, and 295/75/18, I cant seem to get any traction now that the converter is in. I am getting a set of Nitto 305/45/18 but I think I am going to need a little more than that. I have been thinking about ladder bars but the roads here in VA suck and I dont want bad wheel hop.

Thanks

Consider some trac bars and a 2" rear drop. I'd just use a set of Lakewoods but apparently Caltrac's work great. Ask Hodgee about them. A rear sway bar may help a bit also.

I think with your na 5.3 you won't have a problem with spinning those nitto's.... there huge. Unless your well over 350 rwhp there is alot of rubber to break loose, 12.50 inches!!! Gmcski has them. Look in the appearance section.

and also check out my yahoo albums-look for my caltrac page.

also here is the linc to a former caltrac post.

Thanks I was looking at the trac bars and I like them better than the ladder bars anyway. For now the Nittos should be fine. I just finished the trans, now it is on to the rear-end. Just getting things ready for the motor swap. Thanks for the help.

One more question for ya creed, what size Mickeys are those and what is it like lauching with them??

28x11.50-16
You could run a 28x12.50-16 also.
I use tubes and a 8" rim with a 5" backspace. If your running more than a 5" bs(on a 16" rim) you will have brake clearence problems.
I cut 1.9-2.0 60 foot. My lack of hp is about the best It got. They only require a mild burn out.

I not diapointed with them at all.

I'm selling both 20's and MT so I can get nitto's over the winter.
