We should soon see results of these heads on a stock bottom end LS2 SSR application with a Magnusson. I'll post up the info when I get it.

it does have to to with LPE. even though WCCH finish ported the heads themselves, it was the better design of the head that lead to the big power numbers. LPE assisted Edelbrock in designing the head. they do CNC port the as customer bought cylinder heads, but there is more to the head than it's final porting. as shown in the test, both heads were ported by WCCH and the Edelbrock made more power because of it's superior design, not because WCCH ported that head better than their other head.

Those old L98's sure sucked for the money!
