Got a call from Rex today....has the motor all apart now. He's going to try and put a hone in that cylinder in the morning, so I should know tomorrow whether or not it will be an easy fix or if I'll have to do a new block or new pistons .040 over.

Got word from Rex a bit ago. Cylinders cleaned up fine up top, but not in the bottom. Looks like we're going to go another .010 over and do a set of 4.040 pistons. Now I'll have a 410 and be different than all you 408 guys He said like this there's a chance that the motor might consume oil, and I don't want to risk it.

I was really hoping the block would clean with A lite hone but no such luck. Sorry you have to go through this. I'll get the pistons ordered ASAP Mr. Minute Man LOL.
