Both those cams have similar overlap to a 220/220, 112, and would pull similar vaccume with alot more midrange punch below 5K. Vaccume won't be the best but your going have to give some vacc up for that lope.

If you just want lope, get a GM Hot Cam and set the idle real low...

how can you tell what rpm range a cam is ??

By comparing the cam to ones we already know the RPM range of. In the end, all camshaft theory gives us is a best guess but engineers have been perfecting bump sticks for 100 years or more so our best guess is getting pretty darn good.

Scientifically its from years of research.
as a consumer just look at a cam slip for that cam and it tells you it's efficient operating range.

For instance if you go to compcams website and view the Cam guide for these engines. Each cam lists an rpm range along with duration, lift and lsa.
