Low end loss?

Low end loss?
Not sure how to explain this but sometimes when i stomp on the gas i can leave 15 feet of rubber and other days it'll just squawk and go. Road conditions are the same.
Is this because i drive fairly human during the week when only making short trips on busy streets and the PCM has moved the power curve or somthing like that?

to what he said; there are a lot of variables.
Also depends on how long you've been running too. Let the tires warm up and they grab better. Sometimes you catch it wrong and it won't downshift as far, but from a 15 roll you should be going back in to first so that wouldn't really matter.

Oh ok, just caught that. My truck does the same thing sometimes. I've found out the rpms you brake stall to makes a big difference, from a dead stop it sometimes wants to bog down. From idle it sometimes doesn't get in to the power band and launches shitty. Just depends on the day I guess.
