throttle body
you are in luck dude. my yukon did the same thing. I work a a chevrolet lot so i put the tech 2 on it and brought up all the campains and guess what it had a idle relearn and also some type of cleaning the inner side of the tb. all this drive by wire crap sucks so take it to the shop and see if there are any campains on it let me know how it turns out.

Mine has 16k on the odo and has been doing this lately. Thought it had something to do with the a/c but it really doesn't matter. Seems to do it whenever it wants, no rhyme or reason.

Hmmm....I assumed all of the trucks were the same, my 01 Silverado is not drive by wire but I have not seen any of the SUV's. So....if I am wrong, I apologize.

Damn my 01 Tahoe is doing the same thing, and mine is a drive by wire. How do I go about cleaning the Tb. should I take it off and clean it or clean while installed? Also same question with the IAC? Should I change the plugs after I do this? If so what is a good plug to put back in?Thanks for any help

i don't think the drive by wires tb's have a iac they just use the throttle plate to control the idle. if you can log it you will see at idle where the tb is open slightly when it is on and closed when turned off. on hpt when i'm logging i can raise the idle and when i do it will slowely open the tb more and more. then when i lower it back down it closes slowely till it reaches the idle i leave it at.
