good question. I can't decide between Pacesetter's coated or the LPP's. I wanted LPP's but now i see they can have issues rubbing the steering shaft so im still undecided....but the LPP's being stainless is a big advantage.

I ma going to say no difference in power gains, at least none that you will be able to feel... OBX doesn't have a 3 inch collector.. It is between LPP or pacesetter if you don't want to spend money for other stainless headers... If you get alot of rain, go with stainless if you don't the pacesetters will work fine... Just hope LPPs fit when you get them

Just installed the pacesetter coated headers. They look good now, not sure how they last. I didn't like how the drivers side collector was angled to the ground and not straight like the passenger side. Also had to grind on the dipstick tube bracket and bolt to get it to thread back on. The flange sits very close to that mounting hole. No flanges on them either, had to weld them on.

The pacesetters are garbage compared to the OBX's. The LPP's should be very similar in quality to the LPP's. Both the LPP and OBX have disadvantages. The big advantage of the OBX is the 3 bolt flanges on the collectors. Slip fit is inferior unless the pipes are perfectly circular which is pretty rare in my experience. The disadvantage on the OBX is the hump on the driver's side, causing burnt plug wires. The LPP's have slip fit collectors. All in all, I'd go with the LPPs. And for Mangled, the 2.5" collector on the OBX's isn't an issue. I went very good with my mods with them (Dynas - identical design) and KySilverado is in the 11s with those tiny 2.5" collectors

As for the hump on the OBX's just get some custom cut MSD wires and some heat sleves and call it solved! Thats what I am doing no probs at all now!
