Hi can anyone answer me,?i got a 6.0 lq4 i allready put it on my truck it has 317's heads but i want to put some 243 or 823 heads,i have a comp-cam 595-598,232-234,281-283,112ls,racin pac springs,pushrods,cathedral intake from 2008,92mmtbody,longtubes headers,60lbs fuel injectors,electric fan,k/n air filter,3000-3200 stall converter,
4l80e,shift kit,corvette servo,3.73 posi rear end,275/50/17 tires.
I want to put 243 ported or 823 heads [no ported],what's is better can i use the same pushrods with these heads, does it works what head gasket i need? I know if i want to go for the 823 i"ll need to replace the intake for the rectangular port no the cathedral port.
Which one is better? I"ll apreciate your repply
