What about the LQ4 in the 05-06 years? Same as the 01-04 cam?

I have a 07 Classic HD truck with the LQ4 and was trying to figure out the specs on that cam.

^^Anybody know? I heard it was the same as my 01 LS1 cam and that one is:
196.37 intake 208.72 exhaust
Lift .464 intake .479 exhaust
LSA 115.92

Not sure if they are the same thing though?

It's really amazing how cubes chew up a cam.

The LS1 and LQ9 use the same cam yet the LS1 will pull flat all the way to 6000 whereas the LQ9 starts falling off at 5200

I'm sure the LQ4/LQ9 has much better power down low and flatter torque curve though. Bigger cubes will soften up a bigger, higher duration cam and it will be a lot more tame and "streetable" in a bigger cubed engine than in a smalled cubed engine, that's for sure.

I am sure the intake manifold has something to do with that too.
