Default lQ4 & L92 Heads??

my original post asked about 243 but got my hands on some l92 heads and intake. They L92 are currently getting massaged to flo around 345 or so. Now, i want to run a cam that well do well in both power and pretty good street maners. Should I mill or keep them stock. Im thinking of running 1 of the 2 comp cams l92 vvt camshafts cause they are proven and are available. Down below are my mods and what its going into. This is the first truck i build along with l92's....thanks guys..

I wouldn't go L92's with dished pistons such as yourself. You won't have any decent compression for great throttle response or low-midrange power with any kind of a size-able camshaft.

Super chevy did a built with a stock lq4 (with an aftermarket cam) they said the l92 heads on a lq4 bumped the compression up to 10:1. With the cam they choosed and the l92 heads the engine dynoed 506 hp 6600 rpm, they did say the l92 have 68 cc chambers where as alot of other places says 70 cc....so which is it?

scoggin dickey says the l92s are 70cc.. mill them .030 and that will give you a 65cc chamber. mill them .040 and that will give you 63.34cc chambers. Mine are milled .030

so what would the compression ratio be on a lq4 with stock l92 heads? what about stock lq4 with the l92 heads milled .030. how much does it generally cost to mill a set of heads?

i use this compression calculator from keith black. if you can find out the dish cc on the lq4 piston, you can get your comp ratio http://www.kb-silvolite.com/calc.php?action=comp
