I think parish just upgraded the rod bolts in his 6.0 and it made some power.....

I'd probably stick a nice blower cam in there while it was on the stand, upgrade the springs, and maybe pin the crank for insurance.

so heres the deal....
i had planned on getting a stock 6.0, throwing the radix on it, and trying to get 10lbs out of it. but one of the guys at SMC said a 6.0 wont make 10lbs and i should throw some ls6 heads and cam in it for like 375-390rwhp

Is your goal boost, or power? If your goal is boost, then the guy at SMC may be right. But if your goal is power, tell us what your goal is and let the guys here tell you if you will reach it.

The deal is compression and displacement versus boost. A higher displacement motor will make less boost but more power with the same blower config.

The Radix has a 3.4" pulley on an LM7, and 3.3" pulley on an LQ9, and a 3.1" pulley on an LQ4...all for 5.5-6.5 lbs of boost. Does my LM7 make power than grippy's LQ4? I seriously doubt it.

Boost isn't where its all at anyway, its cfm. You'll get that with the blower either way.
I like the Cam/springs advice.
If your stuck on boost, you could up the compression some, the Radix will get you 10lbs, you just have to set it up for that.

Dude, a blown LQ4 will make 400hp easy. My LQ4 with a 3.1 pulley makes 7lbs of boost all day long

I think you'd be well over 400 RWHP with that setup and a mild cam (212/218, 214/220, 216/222, etc.). A mildly aggressive cam (220/224) and you'd have a serious screamer on your hands.

Then you'd be looking at 10-bolt rear and 4L60 issues...
