Thanks guys. I will have it built. My only questions are will my harness plug into all of the lq4's plugs like the crank position plug etc. Also, if the L60e will bolt up to the 2000 lq4. I heard there are issues with it bolting up. Can anyone be certain about taking the spacer out?

Well, we're still not sure about the 60E/00 LQ4, but I can tell you that if your harness will not plug into the sensors that are currently on the LQ4, your 5.3 sensors will swap over, so yes you can re-use your harness.

I have been too. I have been beating myself up over it. There has to be somebody on here that has done this. I am going to post up in the drivetrain section.

I didn't know the 2000 LQ4 had iron heads also. That's not gonna be a good upgrade then right? I would want aluminum heads. My buddy has some LS1 heads. Could I mill and port them to get some power back?

Awesome, now at least you know it'll work for sure...still curious about the 99-00's, just for the sake of knowing.
