I went to the GM web sites and got this info. These are options on these trucks and it is interesting. Check out the all alunium 5.3 in the SSR

2004 Yukon Denali XL

Lq4 only comes with 4L60E in a 1/2ton
find LQ9 it will be a 4L65e,thats the only way the come.

And i didnt realize GMPP had them for that much. Bare blocks are still ~$850. If i was going to rip the thing up, and do a boost engine i'd still get an LQ4 vs an LQ9. But if i got the LQ9, i'd get a longblock like then then part out most of the bottom end stuff lol.
