the gasket kit is $53. I just sold it for $40. The $280 kit has stuff you dont need.

I'd set your goal at 400rwhp and be pleased if it was higher. 450 is unreleastic.

well the thing is the engine i bought was from a burned escalade
and the intake was a little burned up but the crank turned allright
so i know i'll have to replace all the gaskets just to be safe side im puting
all of things from my 4.8 to the 6.0 so by next week im picking it up
and going to take it all a part and clean and inspac it

what year escalade is the engine from? If your willing to spend the money the AFR heads are a great choice but they are pricey. I have also heard that the Patriot's perform very well.

it's from a 2002 escalade
well i know the AFR heads are nice but way out of my budget
i found some 241s new from some guy on ls1tech for $150 but im most likely
going to port mine but im open to any avice

A nice port and polish job should suffice on a budget build! I wouldnt want to spend what they want for those heads either....but they are nice!

well lets make a budget for the most hp i can get lets see
engine.........................$850 stock hp345 to the crank

cam kit from tsp............$700 hp385 more or less

port & polish the heads...$350 To $450 hp435 more or less

under drive pully............$180 hp450 more or less

long tube headers..........$280 hp470 more or less

custom tune from tsp.....$225 hp500 more or less

gasket kit from tsp.........$280 need it

cold air intake................free already have it

flowmaster no cats.........free already have it

electric fans .................free already have it

if i let some thing out let me know

If your going the L92 route you need the L92/L76 intake to make it work.
