huh? aren't most imports non-interference motors?

I'm not sure... I don't know anything about those motors, but I was under the assumption that most of them "were" intereference motors.

Here is a good link I dug up... '70-'97 engine list.

Yeah, there are a good amount of newer non-interference motors made...

Toyota belt driven 4 and 6 cyl engines are not interference, but the 4.7 V8's, which are belt driven, are interference. 90k T-belt replacement interval.
