LS1 coolant crossover tube questions...

Well i test fit the intake tonight. no problems there. it all clears.
Heres the snag i hit. On my stock 04 the coolant tube is only connecting the heads in the front and then the port the coolant hose connects to sticks straight up off the top of the motor.
Well the ls1 assemblies port comes straight out the front and hides right behind and up against the Alt bracket.
But i was able to take a small hammer and tap it up and to the side some and it clears it just perfectly to get the hose on it and cause no clearance issues, i dont see any problem as to why this will not work.
Will have confirmation that what ive done works soon as motors dropped in. ill take a pic too.

Yea my 2000 4.8 came with one but the 2002 5.3 that I bought did not. So I just swapped them out, easy as came be.
