Default LS1 Electric Fans

Which ones will work for my application? I've been pricing some on ebay and have decided to eventually buy a set out of a Camaro/Firebird. My question is what year Camaro/Firebird should I get them from? What size radiator will they fit? I have a '01 4.8L with no tow package or tranny cooler so I think I have the smaller radiator (not sure though). Also, how much does the vsc control (or whatever it's called) from flex-a-lite cost?

you can get one from flex-a-lite, they operate the fans, when to come on, when to turn off.

Any 98-02 fans will work. You have a 28" core radiator and they fit fine in there. The VSC can be had for a bit cheaper than $80. You can get a Hayden kit that works great also for about $40 from Pep Boyz.

While you got it apart, I'd toss in a trans cooler...cheap insurance on a crap trans.
