Default LS1 fans: Alternator pulley?

Going to be instaling my set of E fans on my truck and I was going to order the harness from Blackbear, Should I get the alternator pulley too or would my 105 amp alternator be enough as it is? I was thinking about an underdrive crank pulley in the near future and I only want to have to do this once. Would I run into issues with belt length? and Which pulley would I use on my alternator?

Im with 03_SS_22 on this one. After my fan install, my 105 lasted about 5 months. Went to a 145 and never have any issues any more. I am also running a stereo but the fans give the alt a workout all on there own.

i bought the pulley from them with my harness and didnt notice a difference. in the summer with the HID's,fans and AC going it dips down pretty low so ill be going with a 145+ here before long. im just not sure if i should put the overdrive pulley on it or leave the stock one.

I have had my LS1 fans for years. I am still using my original 105 amp alternator. I've never had a problem.

Still using my 105a alt as well, with 05 fans now, not a problem.

I have a friend that wants to know this
How does one determine if they have the 105A or 145A alternator?

If one does not have the 145A, what vehicle would you look for one on?

The 145 amp alternator is larger than the 105. usually a truck or suv that has power everything (windows, locks, mirrors, heated seats, entertainment pkg etc.) has one.
