i don't know the specific's, but i did just go check an 8600gvw crew cab (04' 2500 crew cab, the newer version of a 1500hd) and it appears from every angle i could measure and look at, they will bolt right in on those also.

i would just use two painless wiring temperature adjustable kits with seperate relays for each fan. using two relays will keep the wiring temperatures down and make for longer life, we had to do this on a friends camaro due to high amp draw from the fans. also running two would let you run them at different temperatures having one come on at like 170 degrees and the next at like 185 to limit how much power is taken from the alternator.

at the car show we had at the dealership i work for we had 3 SS's here and we all walked on back to the 05' we had to compare it. it appears to be a direct bolt in. as soon as they are available to order i will have one and get it installed on one of the SS's from the site. hopefully i'll be able to get all of the gm connectors and find out what it takes to make a straight forward swap. i'm working on it for ya'll.

Zippy, when you get one swapped over, will you write a little how-to article or something. I would definetely like to do this swap.

Do you happen to know the P/N for the COMPLETE fan assembly? Do all of the 05 trucks come with these?

Thx.
