Default ls1 fans overheating~~ Come on in.

When I installed my 6.0L, I also got some ls1 fans and a Nelson harness. I've checked my ECM and made sure they where turned on, And after doing a few searches here, I think I got my A/C wire taped right too.
The fans come on low when the engine starts to heat up, but will stay on low unless the A/C is turned on, then both fans go on high (every time the compressor kicks in).
If I turn the A/C on and the engine is cold only one fan comes on high.
So I think they are working right. But with temps at 110 out side, if I get on it at all the temps shoot to 220+. Then I get to leave the a/c on and turn up the heater. I can get it to cool down, but I get to drive with no a/c and the heat cranked.
Do the 6.0l run that much hotter? Any body got any tips or ideas?????

If I can't get this fixed I'll be going back to the stock fan until I can get a bigger rad. with some 05 fans. So these will be for sell.

GM went with a 34" radiator in all 6.0 trucks I believe. If you still have the 28" radiator may just be a matter of radiator cooling capacity.

The rad was flushed when I installed the engine. The cap is fine aswell. as far as the thermostate, it is open when I check it.
