Default LS1 Intake/Truck Intake

Which one flows better?I have an 04 5.3 truck intake in my 98 s10 right now.Should I keep the truck intake on or put the LS1 intake on?I know they are other intakes that flow better than the ones I have, just curious if its worth swapping? Thanks Mike

No factory GM lsx based intake is worth swapping to IMO based on other people's past results.

Truck intake seems to be the way to go for most of our applications. The LS6 swap used to be semi-popular, but most of the guys who have done it (who have supporting mods that would warrant it...more cubes, big cam, heads, etc), have only reported a tenth or two gain if that. Hardly worth the time and cash IMO. Seems that the biggest gains are found in the aftermarket intakes such as the FAST90...if you have a money tree in your back yard.

Thanks for the replies.Ok so I'll keep the truck intake.I guess I should have mentioned it does have a Comp Cam 222/228 581/588,918 springs, hardened push rods,ls7 lifters,1.7 Harlan Sharp rockers,p&p T.B.4"sewer pipe cai,Dual Magnaflow resonator bullets,99 Camaro exhaust manifolds.I was thinking about the ls6 intake but I guess I'll keep the truck intake.I dont think the fast intakes are worth 1k.IMO.

if you're in to spending some cash on your truck, I'd look in to a set of headers. I know manifolds of now a days are a WHOLE lot better than in the past, but there's still room for improvement.
doesn't sanderson make a set of LS swap headers for the s-trucks?

NE 1 have some dyno results supporting the truck intake theory?
I am at the x roads with the intake swap,[LS1 intake], on my LQ4, and am leaning toward keeping the truck intake. [55 Chevy sedan].
NE input is appreciated.
