im pretty sure it will. but its pointless unless you plan on running different heads, i think youll have to change the fuel rail and the injectors are a diff style i wanna say

i am doing a LS1 swap into my truck, i was told it would even be a waste to run the LS1 manifold with the LS1 and that id be better just running the truck manifold... dunno if that helps

depends on if you know how to do the swap yourself or not, i dont know to wat extent you know.

i paid $1600 for a LS1 with 40k miles on it, a MS3 cam, double roller timing chain, slp oil pump, titanium springs, and hardend pushrods. then i bought a stall converter and im going to build my tranny a lil more ex: cooler, servos, etc. then after thats said and done i have to get my computer retuned for the LS1 which will probably cost me around $375 or so. id say all and all im going to have about $2500-$2600 into my swap but keep in mind im going to do it myself, if your paying someone to do it will be significantly more. now depending on if you want a cammed one it will be more to... w/o hte cam my motor probably woulda been like $1400 plus i wouldnt have had to buy a stall so right there that woulda saved me about $500

id say if you wanna run the 4.8 your best bet is to do a cam, trailblazer converter, headers/exhaust, 4.10s, and a tune, that should put some good numbers for you and it should be fairly cheap

i really dont know that the manifold would be worth the aggrevation to you. and buy spacer do you mean TB spacer, i wouldnt even waste your time puttin one on, its dyno proven that they dont make any power

its the I6 trailblazer stall not the 5.3 one, i thinks a 4.2 liter. it will make your truck stall around 2400-2600 which if i remember correctly its probably at about 1800 now (plus you can pick them up brand new for pretty cheap)
