I thought replacement engines had to be from the same year or newer vehicle? Does that not apply in Texas?

Congrats Austin! I hope that you're happy w/ the TR224. Do you think it has a lot of torque down low? VERY interested in the dyno and track #'s.

It has ALOT more torque then my 4.8 down low, but its hard to tell how much because of the stall and the one wheel peel.
Scream, I just got the confirmation that I will be attending school in Orlando starting in Feb, so we are gonna have to line em up

That's awesome! Congrats! We'll definitely have to line 'em up once I get the stall and 80-e in.

Scream, did you ever redyno after putting in the LS1? I know Speed Craft is long gone, but there is another shop near there that has a dyno.

Congrates on the LS!!! I know I sure like mine in my '97. Mine also has the TR224 on a 114 LSA, it sure screams when it gets to about 3,500!! You should be pleased on both the track and the Dyno! Keep us updated.

Nope...I need to though. I'm going to try to get a before/after number on the 80-e.
