Default LS2 Conversion

I have not heard of anyone doing this in a truck yet. Anyone have any info on it? I think it would be a good discussion.

I thought about, but everyone just said it would be easier to do a 6.0 swap than the LS2. So now I building a 6.0 for my truck. Should be in about 2 weeks or so.

I did some reading and I think the iron 6.0 is very similar to the LS2. The difference is the placement of some sensors and the way the accessories mount up. I don't think it would be to difficult.

If I ever have to swap motors for some reason, I will be going with a LS2 based stroker. The block is updated for displacement on demand, which required the cam position sensor to be located up under the front cover. It also moved the knock sensors from the valley cover to the sides of the block. Otherwise, it should be the same physical dimensions and all your current accessories should move over.

LS2 is an easy conversion when it comes to hardware.....There will be some work involved with sensors and software.

Yeah... I think I heard the knock sensor is a pain in the ***. Supposed to be a completely different system I've heard.
