Default LS2 motor

Hey guys, I have two questions. I have a chance to buy an LS2 motor with only 4800 miles on it. They want 2,500 for it, but I didn't ask if this was installed. Is this a good price?
Second, is this a car motor, I heard that there is a difference between a car motor and a truck motor.
Is this a 6.0?
The truck motors are built with more torque. They said that they could build it for me, like mill and port the heads, install a cam, an LS7 intake and some other stuff and get about 550 rwhp out of it. I can do all of this stuff later cause of my budget.

A low mileage ls2 for 2500 sounds like a deal to me especially if it comes complete with pcm and all not just a long block.

Yes, if the info is accurate, sounds like a good price not installed. Incredible deal installed.

Yes, 6.0L 400hp car motor.

Slap a higher stall torque converter on it if you want to but it should work just fine in your truck the way it is.

They use that exact engine in the Trailblazer SS, so I dont think torque will be in shortage.

I didn't know that it was 400hp. what do think installed, about a $1000? That will be a nice baseline to start building with.

Quik, you mentioned the TB and intake are different. Are they bigger?
I'm going to jump on this deal!! how much is a new PCM, if I need to buy that too. My tuner builds drag cars at the Las Vegas speedway, so I'm sure he would know what to do.
