Default LS2 swap??

Is the ls2 out of a 06-07 tbss a direct swap other than oil pan and x link for the tb?
I can get one for a heck of a deal so I was considering that one since I blew my 6.0 up...

No its not a direct swap since its a 58 tooth. However if you find a ls2 from a 05 corvette or gto those are 24 tooth.

The LS2 from an 06 TBSS is a 24 tooth, but there are converter boxes to go from 58 to 24, so it isn't a huge issue. You will have to work out the different locations for the knock sensors and the cam sensor too, but thats minor.

how hard is it to swap it to a 24 tooth? or is just the conveter box needed?

Well, you'd essentially have to disassemble the entire engine to switch the reluctor wheel. Just get a converter box, if you buy a 58x engine.
