LS2 tb vs 90mm truck, etc
Ok, since I have a 01 Tahoe, with dbw, I can use the cheaper $60 adapter for a LS2 tb. Now, my question is. How about the 90mm tb that comes on the TBSS or other NBS trucks? IIRC doesn't certain 6.0s have them?
But they are probably the 5 pin vs 6in? I know one member was saying he used the adapter on his Tahoe, but had to switch wires due to rotation of the blade.
I'm going to do the NBSS intake and TB swap although I'm not going FI for awhile, the more flow would net some gains with LTs and a cam eventually? Afterall GM made the 90mm and newer intake "factory" on all the new 5.3s and such anyways.

What $60 adapter do you mean? It more than likely doesn't open the blade 100%, it more than likely stops at 80%. The gold blade truck 87mm throttle body opens in the same direction as the gold blade LS3 throttle body, and uses the same wire configuration on the older X link harness. If you get a silver blade LS2 throttle body, the older X link will need the pink wires cut. I believe the new X links do not need to have any wires cut, and can be switched between either style. I have not seen a newer X link, I have the older style.
