I'm swaping a stock non VVT lS3 cam from a Corvette into a LM7. Got a good deal on the cam and cam gear, but I dont know if I can reuse the stock pushrods. I know that the LS6 valve springs are similar to the LS3 so I have that covered. Any help is greatly appreciated

your LM7 has the cam sensor in the rear of the block. The LS3 is on the front timing cover.
you would need a LS3 cam sensor, and timing cover. . . . then lengthen your cam sensor wire to the front of the block.
Yes you can use your original push rods, they're the same length.

That is a really cool article. It's interesting to see how they all fare. I hate that they show the LQ9 chart for the LS6 cam though... that would have been really valuable info.
I still stand by the fact that I think the LS6 cam would make more power than the LS3 cam in the LS3.

Tootall thanks for the help man. Just ordered the Ls3 timing cover and found a harness extension on ebay for about $30. I'll probly end up buying a set of chromemoly pushrods later. Btw Hog that article was really interesting.
