Picked this camshaft up off another member, just trying to double check and validate that it is an 02+ camshaft, and not sure how to go about it. Any assistance?

Yup, 5308 is the 02-04 Z06 cam .550 lift. I have the same cam in my garage and I just double checked the numbers....Use it and if you are auto bump up shift points at least 200-300 rpms as a starting point

sweet man thanks a lot. yeah a buddy of mine is a tuner and we've been writing up a base tune to start with. springs are already in.

Great, it doesn't take to much to get a ls6 cam dialed in...very smooth idle and pulls hard 5,500+. Check out this thread. If you can mill your heads .025-.030 that would be optimal for this cam..

This guy didn't do much with his shift points due to the trans being stock, but he still gained decent at the track with stock heads. Again this cam would like a bit more compression if your heads are stock..
