From a truck intake to a 6 intake. Damn, 25 hp is worth the trouble !

What is this torque loss (or redistribution if you will) people are talking about? Does anybody have a dyno graph of before and after results from just a swap from truck to an older LS1 OR newer style LS1/LS6 intake manifold? I am not doubting... just want to see some graphs.

There was one floating around Tech... I'll try to dig it up. If I remember correctly it was only a loss off idle to approx 2000 RPM. Where the cam + TC combo can override the loss and match the truck manifold to 5300 PRMs and then just keep the curve going from there. Unlike the truck manifold dropping way down @ 5500 RPMs.

Anyway I'll see if I can find the links
