Can i put a LS6 intake on my 4.8L what do i need to do this.

you can, but there is really no benefit from doing this.

Here is basiclly everything you need to do it right-

LS6 intake
Idler relocation bracket(www.speartech.com)
You have to trim down the fill neck on your water pump
***97/98 Vette Fuel rail assembly***
Almost forgot you have to switch to E-fans so you also need-
E-fans(LS1,05' truck,FALs)
Nelson Fan Harness or PCM4LESS(I recommended using one of those)

That's what I have heard,too. There in no gains in HP/TQ
