I know you will need the F-body water pump, and also will need to shave some of the alternator/ ps pump bracket so it will clear the throttle body. If I remember you should be able to reuse the fuel rails, you just have to creatively bend them. Not completely for sure on that though. There should be a sticky on this somewhere...

x2 on trimin the acc. bracket, but when i did mine the f body water pump didnt work well it did for the first day but then the belt kept poppin off so i had to go with a water pump off a 08-up motor
your fuel rail and injectors will work just gonna have a big gap between the intake and fuel rail also gonna need shorter bolts
but i think the right fuel rail for your truck is off a 97' vette well thats what i need for my 2000

ok thanks guys, i have an 08 silverado waterpump sitting in the shop, and ive got a vette ls1 engine that i am pulling the intake off of so maybe it has the fuel rail i need.
what kind of gains do you guys see with an ls1 intake over the stock truck intake. also that may be an ls6 but im not sure.

If I recall you gain a little bit on the top end, but the bottom end sees some loss. The truck intake actually flows much better up to about 6k RPM, but will give you more torque down low. If it's free I say go ahead and try it, but not something I would spend a huge amount on IMO
