One question, What if you just got the ls6 alternator with bracket and LS6 water pump? Would that allow installation without any issues?

I'm looking at this picture

LS6

And this one

And it makes me think it might be easy to just swap brakets and pullys.

Wong,
Got me thinking
How much room you will have up front with your swap?

Just remembered saving this
this guy has alot of brackets and stuff that may help you out

Are you running a stock crank pulley or an ASP?

I've spoken to Allen at Nelson can make a harness to get rid of that ugly mess
if and when the time comes to pretty up the engine.

I've also spoken to Nasty Performance and yes, their setup is pricey, but very nice. Another option might be a 97-98 vette fuel rail as they were regulated at the manifold with a return line.

To me it looks like the only difference is the drivers side brackets and pullys.

I'm also looking into the other plug the top and drill the front method. I think I'm going to try that first and if it doesnt work out use this method depending on cost of bracketry.

Tdrum,
Im still running the stock pulley

I like the Nasty idea
Ive heard it said that the 97 rails dont have a FPR but it does have the
in and out lines????????
not exactly clear on that, ill see if I can find out ...
I know the IFR is scaled up in the stock bin files Ive seen

Wong,
I started to do that also
Mezieree makes several outlet thats threaded with NPT threads on one end...
look under fittings
http://www.meziere.com/index.php?pgName=20an

and you can find a tap pretty cheap on Ebay

It would be more trouble than it's worth to change everything over. Not to mention the cost.
