GM P/N 12568002, You simply remove the intake manifold and unbolt the existing cover, then install the new one. Go to this website for further detail. The inline pcv valve I made was a valve, inserted into a rubber hose, then a hollowed out valve at the other end to plug a hose into. Website: www.ls1howto.com

I did it on mine. But remember, I think its pre 03 blocks will require cutting in the valley for the LS6 cover to work.

Me and a couple of friends did this to my 2500HD this past weekend. It only took about 2 1/2 hours to do and it was pretty simple for the most part. My truck is using between 2-3 quarts in a 3000 mile period. I used the kit from Thunder Racing. The kit was complete, but you will need about 2 foot of 1/4 inch hose to connect the pcv system.

No did not have to cut the block. I have a 2001. I think it was the 1997-2000 that you have to cut to get it to fit.

Soooo....this might be a good idea for me when I decide to put the LQ9 together huh? I assume that I could still utilize my AMW catch can for some extra insurance (as a matter of fact, I think AMW makes a bracket that secures their can to one of the cylinder heads for the LSx engines with this PCV system). Or, since I already have the AMW, is it even worth it for me to spend the extra bucks for the LS6 system?
