dirt, im pretty sure he has the complete ls6 motor, not just the intake so he doesnt need to mess with injectors or intakes

Thanks for the info silver and dirt. Where do you guys go for your ecu tunes? Can I use the truck pan on the motor or do I need a new one? This may not be as bad as we thought. Is the radiator sufficiant? Thanks alot guys

radiator will be sufficient. you COULD take it the dealership and get them to write the ls6 tune onto it but you could also take it a local speed shop that does dyno tuning and get them to do it or talk to allen nelson, a sponsor to the right and he could do a mailorder tune for you

you might suggest a built trans or an 80e swap i dont think the stock 60e would like the ls6 very well

but the vette weighs ALOT less than a full-size truck and there is therefore less stress on the trans in the vette than there is in the truck

he wont need a 80e just probably a level 3 FLT 60e or the equivalent
