Default LS6 swap guys...Coolant crossover question

What did ya'll do about the the LS6 coolant crossover? The pipe on it is like 1mm or less from the alternator bracket. It's so close I can't get the coolant tubing on it. Can this be safely bent slightly or what? I really don't want to cut it. I just cleaned my stuff from cutting the other part of the bracket where the idler was (speartech idler relocation bracket).

Default

a 5/16" boxed end wrench should fit over it. use that to bend it. just be careful not to kink it.
