Talked with tech service at Scoggin Dickey this morning. They advise not to use the LS7 exhaust rocker arm on LS1 engines because the valve angle is different on the LS7. I don't know how much the difference is, but will wait until someone has some experience with these rocker arms.

I've done a little searching on the net and found the LS7 valve is angled at 12 degrees and the 5.3 and 6.0 engines have valves at 15 degrees. I don't know if 3 degrees makes any significant difference.

Still getting mixed information on LS7 rocker arms. Someone on ebay is selling new rocker arms and I emailed him to find out what he knows. He stated,"The valve angle has nothing to do with the rocker mounting. The valve angle is the relationship between the piston bore centerline and the valve angle centerline.ie 3 degree angled milled heads, when you mill, you change the valve angle. He claims the exhaust rocker arm will work on a LS1, LS6 and LS2. Has anyone found information about this rocker arm setup on LS1 engines?

I can't imagine the valve angle coming into play either.

We'll see soon if they'll fit right. I just ordered a set from gmpartsdirect.com just now for $154.36 shipped. They'll be going in my basically stock LQ9 along with a low mile 2004 Z06 cam. The Long tube AS&M headers will follow sometime this spring as will a custom dual side exit exhaust to help compliment the better cam... as will electric fans, TB converter, custom CAI... (all sitting in the garage). Man, I've got a lot of work to do!!!

Yep, if it works, you'd have to use 16 exhaust rockers.

Correct. I ordered 16 of the LS7 exhaust rockers as the exhaust use the same layout as all other LSx based engines intake and exhaust use. The intake LS7 rockers are offset 12 degrees and can not be used for regular LSx heads.
