Default lsx?

has anyone used the lsx block in their truck yet? i was thinking of investing in this block for the added security that i can reach high hp numbers without stressing about the strenth of the block, and for the fact that it has a decent bore and stroke sizes available. I am also wondering if anyone knows anything about lunati stroker kits. sorry for asking so many questions i just dont want to get into something and it end up being unreliable.

Thanks
Cade

what kind of power level are you thinking you'll be at? the LSX block is overkill for anything over 1k imo...guys have been making SICK power on 6.0L blocks for a long time. more infact than anyone has made with an LSX yet.

I made 730 RWHP and 805 FT lbs at 12 psi
and that was just to break in the motor before turning up the boost

I really don't know how you can make a statement like that, there are a lot of LSX blocks out there making between 1000 and 1500 rwhp

the most powerful LS motor i've ever heard of is the one W2W built for Casper, it was up over 1800rwhp...with a 6.0L block and AFR heads.
