Default LSX FAST intake on 6.0

What modifications need to be done here, unfortunately the LSX phone guy told me its a direct replacement, but i have run into many problems. such as throttle body hitting pulley, and injectors do not work. Any one know what needsw to be done to get this on my truck?

I will be watchin this thread real close because I was going to buy the same LSX intake, for my 6.0 I am putting in my 2000 silv. Maybe you have to use there 78mm or 90mm throttle body with there intake, just a guess, Iwouldnt think you would have too. Wish I could be more help......

Do a search on people who are putting on the LS1 or LS6 intake. I think that there is a $70 adapter for the pulley that you have to get from speartech http://www.speartech.com/ and you also have to use spacers so that your injectors will fit. Although I have searched, and have no clue where to get them. Maybe someone else who has actually done it will chime in.

PS, whoever sold you that intake is full of crap, they should have known that it wouldn't just bolt up and work perfectly. So either they were lying, or just don't know what they are talking about.

There are lots of topics, but you probably should search for LS6 intake instead. Its not a super simple mod, but it can be done. Its going to take a bit of tweeking.

It was HPE, but it didn't give any real how-to details.

The lsx fast intake appears to be the same style as a ls1 intake so you should have to do the same to make it fit. Check out this link it list some of the things you have to do to get a ls1 intake on a 5.3.
